Ledgent is working with a client in the engineering field looking for a senior level project accountant / billing administrator to join their team.

Role open due to growth.

This role is direct hire and offers competitive compensation ($60k-$70k D.O.E.), bonus eligibility, and hybrid flexibility after training.

Job Duties :

  • Working closely with project managers and principals to help ensure timely collection of outstanding receivables
  • Interact with customers. Work with customer to resolve billing issues
  • Research customer billing issues and handle exception credits as required
  • Working with Project Managers to Generate client invoices
  • Reviewing key administrative information such as proposals, work orders, and contracts to help ensure that appropriate staff members are informed and that invoices meet client requirements
  • Resolving accounting issues with client accounting or contracting staff when necessary
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting issues as required

Requirements :

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
  • Vantage Point experience (preferred)
  • Highly motivated, professional demeanor with a "can do" attitude
  • Team-oriented and strong work ethic
  • Proficient and accurate data entry skills necessary
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, shift focus if needed to assist other staff
  • Maintain a well-organized system to account for various information processed
