Base Salary : $75,000 - $115,000 per year (based on experience)

Position Overview :

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Licensing and Brand Manager to lead and grow our portfolio of licensed and partner brands.

In this role, you will identify and secure licensing opportunities, negotiate contracts, and foster brand collaborations that enhance our product offering and align with Threadbeast’s culture and vision.

You’ll work closely with internal teams to strategically bring brands to market, and ensure their success. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of Threadbeast by driving key relationships and creating lasting partnerships.

Key Responsibilities :

Licensing & Contract Management (80-85% Focus) :

  • Research and identify new brand opportunities, analyzing market trends & potential fit.
  • Work closely with the management team to align licensing initiatives with Threadbeast’s target audience, company values, and overall business objectives.
  • Oversee the legal and business aspects of licensing agreements, including negotiation of contract terms, royalties, and category exclusivity, ensuring clear objectives and deliverables are outlined.
  • Draft, issue, and execute contracts, modifications, & renewals in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and manage active licenses, overseeing performance metrics, ensuring targets are met, and optimizing strategies for future collaborations.
  • Oversee the growth, maintenance, and exit of brands and artwork within Threadbeast’s roster of licenses, providing regular performance updates and strategic insights into the licensing portfolio.

Brand Prospecting & Acquisition (15-20% Focus) :

  • Lead outreach efforts to develop and manage relationships to enhance visibility and drive mutual business growth through product licenses, marketing, and / or PR.
  • Collaborate with marketing, merchandising, and management to integrate partnerships & licensed products with campaigns, ensuring cohesive brand representation.
  • Create reports and insights on partnership effectiveness, offering recommendations for improvements or new opportunities.

  • 5+ years of experience in licensing, partnerships, and / or marketing within the apparel or fashion industry.
  • Solid understanding of the retail environment including retail and DTC.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing brand relationships that align with company goals.
  • Strong negotiation and account management skills, with the ability to nurture long-term relationships with external partners.
  • Ambitious, resourceful, focused and goal-oriented.
  • Analytical mindset to track market analyses & partnership performance to identify areas for improvement or innovation.
  • Highly detail-oriented. Excellent organizational & project management skills, Excellent ability to manage scheduling for self and others.
  • Ability to juggle several projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Ability to lead people, build trust, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Highly effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to create impactful presentation decks for executive level team members.
  • Ability to develop, pitch, and execute a partnership plan, working with cross functional teams to ensure the vision is executed effectively to meet and exceed goals.
  • Preferred :
  • Strong understanding of consumer product trends and brand positioning in the Streetwear space.
  • Experience in cross-channel marketing (digital, retail, social media), with a demonstrated ability to manage multi-channel campaigns.
  • Familiarity with fashion startups or high-growth environments.
