Key Responsibilities :
- CPT Level Review : Assess visit notes to confirm they align with the provider's CPT level.
- Insurance Review : Address insurance details within charts during the coding process.
- Team Collaboration : Assist fellow coders as needed, ensuring a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Essential Qualifications :
- Expert Knowledge : Proficiency in 1500 billing, ICD-10, and CPT coding.
- Revenue Cycle Familiarity : Understanding of the revenue cycle's functionality.
- EMR Proficiency : Ability to learn and use EMR and electronic billing software. Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) EMR is a plus.
- Communication Skills : Excellent grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Ability to operate general office equipment.
- Team Player : Ability to work well with others, take constructive critique, and support company goals and objectives.
- Adaptability : Willingness to jump in and help fellow coders as needed, and adapt to changing environments.
Must-Haves :
- CPC Certification
- E & M Coding Experience : At least 2+ years.
- EMR Systems Experience
Nice-to-Have Skills :
- eClinicalWorks Proficiency
- Medical Terminology Knowledge
- Microsoft Teams Experience
- Full Cycle Billing Process Understanding

Work Schedule :
Hours : 7 : 30 am to 4 : 00 pm MST, Monday to Friday.

Pay : $22-$24
- Health Benefits - We offer medical, dental, and vision to our talent.
- Retirement Benefits - We offer a 401K program to talent once they have been working for a minimum of 6 months. The 2 enrollment dates are 1 / 1 and 7 / 1 - enrollment can only occur on those dates.
- Paid Sick Leave - Talent may accrue up to 10 days annually at an accrual rate of 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
