Rhombus is looking for a Head of Technical Partnerships , who will serve as the main liaison between Rhombus and its strategic technical partners.

In this dynamic role, you will identify potential new partners, cultivate both new and existing relationships, and develop KPIs to measure the success of strategic partner initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the technology landscape, excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive collaborative initiatives that align with the company's strategic goals.

Your efforts will be pivotal in enhancing both sales and technical capabilities, driving growth and innovation within our company, and expanding our market reach in the physical industry.

What You'll Do :

  • Cultivate existing partnerships to maximize their potential from both sales and technical perspectives.
  • Train strategic partner sales teams on Rhombus products and educate internal teams on partner products to ensure mutual understanding and effective collaboration.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs, and identify potential new strategic partners, negotiate partnership terms, and lead negotiations to establish mutual benefit.
  • Oversee technical integration efforts ensuring seamless interoperability and optimal user experience.
  • Promote the Rhombus platform to engage other developers to build off and drive design requirements for Rhombus integrations and APIs.
  • Create and track KPIs to measure partnership performance, including financial metrics, product integration success, and overall impact on business goals.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all technical partnership-related matters, ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives and engage in partnership activities including white papers, webinars, and partner enablement sessions.

What We're Looking For :

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or relevant field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of managing and growing technical partnerships that drive business growth.
  • Deep understanding of physical security industry standards and trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies.
  • Strong curiosity for technology products with ability to engage in technical discussions and assess integration feasibility with partners.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving collaborative efforts towards common goals.
  • A strong curiosity and passion for technical product implementation, integration, and API adoption.
  • Previous experience in development and / or product management is a plus.

This is an onsite position based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office 2-3 times a week.

Need to be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.

Compensation

Base Salary : $120,000-$160,000

Additional forms of compensation, depending on the role, include discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company. Individual pay is determined based on the candidate's primary work / hiring location and additional factors, such as skills and experience, and relevant education, certifications, or training.
