JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you have software developer experience, and are you seeking a new contract in Minneapolis? Horizontal Talent is helping a collaborative company recruit a SharePoint Developer, and the contract role comes with an attractive hourly rate.

As a SharePoint Developer, you will be responsible for setting up and configuring a SharePoint hub site tailored to the needs of the Strategy and Operations (S&O) team.

This includes developing document repositories with appropriate permissions, implementing user-friendly interfaces, integrating necessary features, and conducting training sessions for team members.

In your first few weeks in this SharePoint Developer role, you can expect to :

  • Set up and configure the SharePoint hub site to meet the specific requirements of the S&O team
  • Develop internal and external document repositories with proper permissions and accessibility
  • Design and implement user-friendly interfaces for internal team members and external clients / partners
  • Integrate necessary features and functionalities, focusing on areas such as Change and Communications (C&C), Program Management, and Portfolio Management
  • Document site structure, processes, and guidelines for future maintenance and updates.

  • At least 5 years of experience in SharePoint development and administration
  • Experience setting up document management systems and permissions within SharePoint
  • Understanding of SharePoint security settings and best practices

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for engaging with stakeholders and conducting training sessions
  • Project management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks.
