Job Summary :

The Production Team Lead will support the Supervisors on the daily operations of the production team within our aerospace manufacturing facility.

This role is essential in ensuring that all production activities align with company goals, quality standards, and safety regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, can help train operators, and is strong with documentation processes

Key Responsibilities :

• Leadership and Supervision :
• Lead and mentor a team of production operators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
• Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular evaluations to drive team effectiveness.
• Production Planning and Coordination :
• Collaborate with production planners to develop daily production schedules that meet demand while optimizing resource allocation.
• Ensure that production targets are met on time and within budget.
• Quality Assurance :
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Implement corrective actions for any deviations or non-conformities in production.
• Safety Compliance :
• Promote a culture of safety by ensuring that all team members adhere to safety protocols and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to enhance team awareness.
• Continuous Improvement :
• Identify areas for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Encourage team involvement in problem-solving and innovation efforts.
• Reporting and Documentation :
• Maintain accurate records of production metrics, including output, downtime, and resource utilization.
• Prepare reports for management on team performance and production issues.
Qualifications :
• HS diploma
• HS diploma
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on production management or team leadership.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and safety regulations in the aerospace industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in production management software and tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
