Production Team Lead
Job Description
- Operate machining equipment to meet production requirements
- Follow and perform periodic product inspection instructions
- Monitor, troubleshoot and maintain machines
- Complete daily Production Reporting and Downtime Sheets
- Report Maintenance issues
- Participate in Continuous Improvement Teams
- Perform cycle counts as needed
- Maintain 5S standards
- Monitor and coach production employees to work safely and efficiently to ensure production and safety standards are met
- Monitor employees and enforce company policies
- Wrap finished good pallets
- Print labels
- Perform performance evaluations
- Conduct weekly team meetings
Qualifications
- Ability to work on multiple machines and help team members
- Ability to use basic inspection equipment (caliper, micrometer,
- Willing to work overtime when necessary
- Ability to work on multiple machines
- Ability to exchange information with co-workers and work as part of a team
- Ability to work independently and make independent decisions
- Ability to train others on the job
- Ability to operate a forklift
This is a fully on-site position in Solon, OH.
