The Technical Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching technical resources to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
This role involves answering phone calls and ensuring that the appropriate technical personnel are dispatched to address customer needs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Dispatching and Coordination :
- Receive and prioritize service requests.
- Dispatch technical resources (e.g., technicians, engineers) to client locations based on urgency, skill set, and availability.
- Monitor and adjust schedules to ensure optimal coverage and timely response to service requests.
- Communication :
- Communicate with clients to confirm service requests and provide updates on the status of their issues.
- Serve as the main point of contact between clients and technical teams, ensuring clear and accurate information exchange.
- Maintain regular communication with technical personnel to monitor job progress and resolve any on-site issues.
- Data Management :
- Enter, update, and maintain accurate records of service requests, dispatches, and job statuses in the company’s tracking system.
- Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on dispatch activities, resource utilization, and service performance.
- Problem Solving :
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts and resolve them efficiently.
- Assist in troubleshooting issues that arise during the dispatch process, ensuring minimal disruption to service delivery.
- Customer Service :
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Follow up with clients post-service to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Working Conditions :
