Spa Receptionist

As a Spa Receptionist in Fairport, NY, you play a crucial role as the first and last point of contact for our guests. Your warm welcome and genuine appreciation set the tone for their visit, making their experience memorable.

Your job involves booking treatments, greeting guests, giving tours, providing amenities, managing spa operations, handling transactions, and assisting with maintaining cleanliness.

This role offers you the opportunity to shine by upselling and cross-selling services while engaging with guests in a busy and dynamic environment.

Compensation : $16 - $18 hourly

Responsibilities :

• Be able to effectively communicate with all guests in a warm, welcoming manner
• Assist guests and fellow associates with any concerns in a timely manner
• Abide by our cash handling procedures
• Have knowledge of the spa and the services that are provided
• Create a welcoming atmosphere and effectively communicate the benefits and pricing of spa services
• Ensure guests feel cared for throughout their visit and address any concerns or feedback with empathy and professionalism
• Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and assist guests with various requests promptly
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in handling transactions, calls, and guest needs
• Uphold safety and security protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff

Qualifications :

• This role requires good verbal and written English communication skills as well as computer skills
• You must be able to handle cash or credit transactions and have scheduling / organization proficiency
• This job requires light work exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and / or up to 10 pounds frequently with a regular need to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Long hours may be required. Spa inspections of locker or rest facilities will require the ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach
• This role works under variable temperature conditions and noise levels and is primarily indoors with chemical, fume, or odor hazards as well as dust or mite hazards potentially being present
