Help keep production moving with precision and efficiency. As a Material Handler 2 at MacLean-Fogg, you'll be responsible for shipping, receiving, moving, and staging materials to ensure production schedules stay on track. You'll operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment, use warehouse systems like JDE and RF scanners, and play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy and a smooth material flow.

Job Details

  • Position Type : Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)
  • Pay Range : Competitive (shared during interview)
  • Work Location : Onsite - Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin
  • Shift : 1 (Monday-Friday, 6 : 45 AM - 3 : 00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and load shipments accurately and on time to meet production schedules
  • Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently
  • Move, stock, receive, weigh, and pack inbound / outbound goods
  • Deliver raw materials to work centers to support continuous production flow
  • Track inventory movement using JDE, RFS, and RF systems
  • Load and unload trucks, verifying product counts and condition
  • Label, package, and inspect materials to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Support inventory cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Suggest and support improvements to increase operational efficiency
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Follow all safety, environmental, and quality policies
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., JDE)

    • Qualifications (Required)

  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience : Minimum 2 years of material handling experience
  • Experience operating powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, tuggers)
  • Working knowledge of warehouse processes, safety, and inventory handling

    • Qualifications (Preferred)

  • Certifications : Forklift certification preferred

    • Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
  • Required to stand for extended periods.
  • Must be able to push / pull objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Frequent bending and stooping required.
  • Must have the dexterity to handle small objects.
  • Must be able to work in noisy environments.
