The Direct Marketing Strategist will work closely with prospects, clients, and internal teams to identify business challenges and opportunities where direct marketing can be leveraged to drive results.
This role is responsible for developing comprehensive direct marketing strategies across various channels, including direct mail, email, SMS (text messaging), and digital 1 : 1 marketing.
The strategist will monitor campaign performance, provide insights for optimization, and evolve the strategies based on data.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify business needs that can be addressed through direct marketing strategies.
- Develop and define strategies for direct marketing campaigns, leveraging a combination of direct mail, email marketing, SMS, and digital 1 : 1 tactics.
- Partner with project managers and client services managers to guide the execution of direct marketing campaigns, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy.
- Conduct market research and audience analysis to inform campaign strategies and segmentation approaches.
- Create data-driven strategies for acquisition, retention, and reactivation programs.
- Monitor and analyze campaign results, generating insights to make data-driven adjustments and optimize future initiatives.
- Stay current on industry trends, tools, and best practices, particularly in direct mail, email, SMS, and personalized digital marketing.
- Provide strategic recommendations to cross-functional teams, ensuring that direct marketing programs align with broader marketing strategies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for clients, offering thought leadership on direct marketing best practices and trends.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge in direct marketing, with specific expertise in direct mail and familiarity with email marketing, SMS, and digital 1 : 1 strategies.
- Strong understanding of how to leverage data to create targeted, personalized marketing programs.
