Express Lube Technician Job Description
Express Lube Tech are responsible for maintaining and servicing of customer vehicles.
They preform Multi-Point inspections, lubricate vehicle engine parts and wheel bearings as well as replace air, oil, cabin, and fuel filters.
Responsibilities
- Apply lubricants to the moving parts of the vehicle engines.
- Perform tire rotations.
- Test tire pressure : adding air if needed.
- Replacing cabin, fuel, air and oil filters
- Inspect vehicle for any oil leaks
- Perform engine cleaning to prevent rust formation.
- Inspect the vehicle for additional needed repairs.
- Notify the Service Advisor when additional maintenance is needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years experiences as an Express Service Tech (preferred)
- Must have basic computer skills.
- Must be able to work with a team.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Effective communication skills
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must have and maintain a valid driver license.
- Must keep up with new technology, repairs and services process.
- Exceptional customer service skills
