Lead a team that is responsible for originating mortgage products directly to customers through a centralized sales channel.
And make a difference instead of just a living.
Essential Job Functions
- Conducts interviews and hires staff
- Manages day to day activities of the sales staff
- Holds regular meetings with the sales staff, reviewing sales strategies, best practices, new products and product enhancements.
- Develops strategy for building and maintaining account base, utilizing effective sales techniques
- Achieve monthly performance standards
- Achieve monthly call queue performance standards
- Enhance loan agent sales, customer service and technical skills
- Monitor agent originations, fundings and loan conversion percentages performance
- Ensure regulatory compliance in all areas
- Weekly meetings informing staff of expectations and weekly / monthly goals
- Weekly training, covering new products and procedure changes
- Daily meetings with Director / VPs
- Sales Team pipeline management
- Ensures that sales staff is following company policies and procedures
- Assistance with daily tasks such as DU / LP
Education / Experience Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Must have two years of management experience in the mortgage banking industry
- Minimum of 5 years of mortgage banking sales experience is preferred.
