As the VP, Controller, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our financial strategy and ensuring compliance.

Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership : Oversee day-to-day corporate accounting functions, providing expert guidance to our talented team

Policy Development : Create and enforce robust financial policies that streamline operations and maintain legal compliance

Budget Optimization : Manage budgets with precision, aligning resources to achieve corporate goals

Accurate Reporting : Prepare and distribute timely financial reports, ensuring stakeholders have accurate insights

Risk Management : Conduct thorough risk assessments, proactively identifying and addressing potential discrepancies

ERP Expertise : Leverage your ERP system knowledge to enhance efficiency and data integrity

Financial Advice : Collaborate with executive leadership, offering strategic financial insights.

Team Leadership : Foster excellence within our accounting staff, driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

CPA certification is required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

Master's degree (preferred)

15+ years of relevant experience, including 10+ years in leadership roles

Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and other international accounting standards

Strong understanding of tax law and concepts

Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team

Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities

Proven experience with ERP systems implementation and management

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
