Overview
The Department of Kinesiology and Health Science at Utah State University (USU) seeks to hire a Professional Practice Assistant Professor in Sport Management.
The highly qualified candidate will have had experiences within professional and educational settings. The position will primarily support the master's degree in Sport Management and the undergraduate program emphasis in Sport Management at USU.
The successful candidate for the position will demonstrate a passion for the field of sport management, have professional experiences within the field, the ability to collaborate with industry professionals and have the desire to advance student learning and development through excellent teaching and mentorship.
Teaching responsibilities will be dispersed across the academic year and will occur both in online and face-to-face environments.
The ideal candidate will also demonstrate the ability to work harmoniously and collaboratively with university colleagues and professional organizations.
This position will be physically located at the USU main campus in Logan with a 90% role assignment in teaching and a 10% role assignment in service.
This is a 1.0 FTE, term appointment, nine-month academic year position that is fully benefited. With strong performance by the candidate and healthy program enrollments, the position will be renewable annually.
