This position is located in Seattle and works a hybrid schedule of a minimum of 2 days in the office.

Position Overview :

This leadership role will provide expert advice and operational support. In this role, you will consult with staff and management on all HR areas including recruitment, compensation, career development, employee relation, learning and development, and compliance.

Responsibilities also include hiring and supervising other HR department staff, serving as the main point of contact in the organization for HR guidance.

Some of the Principal Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Oversight for the HR function including development and coaching of team
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies and oversee recruitment activity
  • Evaluate / maintain high quality orientation, onboarding, and retention programs
  • Lead benefit administration and coordination across GIA.
  • Manage annual performance reviews, individual development plans (IDPs), check-ins and salary budget processes.
  • Lead and maintain integrity of compensation practices to ensure salaries and ranges are internally equitable and externally competitive.
  • Ensure compliance with all Federal and State regulations and all other regulatory requirements as needed.
  • Manage all aspects of the payroll process.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.

Qualifications & Skills :

REQUIRED :

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Human Resources Management, or related field and a minimum of 8+ years’ experience;

experience may substitute for education.

  • Minimum of 3 years of Talent Acquisition experience
  • Minimum of 3 years in compensation strategy and execution
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in benefit planning and administration
  • Advanced experience in developing talent, and / or Performance Management systems
  • Experience in leading learning and development strategies and programs
  • Expert experience in using ADP systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel including comfort in consolidating data, V-lookups, formula creation and pivot tables.
  • Proficient with MS office applications.
  • Must be self-managed, able to work independently and well within a team to meet established deadlines.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Thorough knowledge of applicable HR laws (e.g.

state, and federal labor laws, FLSA, WA PFML, leave laws, ERISA, HIPAA, etc.)

  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Deals with confidential information and / or issues using discretion and judgment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and demonstrate good judgment in resolving issues.
