Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and reliable HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This is a Non-Union position. The HVAC Service Technician will serve commercial clients.

Responsibilities :

  • Diagnostic Skills : Perform thorough assessments of HVAC systems to identify issues, malfunctions, or potential problems.
  • Repairs and Maintenance : Execute repairs, replacements, or adjustments to HVAC components, including compressors, motors, thermostats, and other parts, to restore proper system functionality.
  • Installation : Install new commercial HVAC systems or components as needed, ensuring proper setup, alignment, and compliance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.
  • Preventive Maintenance : Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment life.
  • Refrigerant Handling : Handle refrigerants safely and adhere to all environmental regulations and guidelines.
  • Customer Service : Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their questions, explaining necessary repairs, and providing recommendations for system improvements.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance work performed, including equipment history and service reports.
  • Safety : Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  • Continual Learning : Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations through ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC certification or vocational training required.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician, with a minimum of 3-5 years in the field.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines.
