Job Title : Development / Research Engineer
Location : Mossville, IL (100% onsite)
Duration : 12 months
Typical task breakdown :
- Review test cell data and ensure no issues with Aftertreatment or performance shift.
- Ensure all cell hardware is accounted for, current and future programs. Make sure they are tracked properly electronically to accumulate hours.
- Run simulations to ensure catalyst performance meets program needs.
- Perform analysis for new programs on total catalyst volume needed to meet required emissions
- Troubleshoot and fix aftertreatment related issues / codes in test cell, especially during install
- Create aftertreatment related diagnostic maps and simulate they trip
- Gather test cell data for boundary conditions hardware will undergo while testing / out in application and for emission cycles
Education & Experience Required :
Bachelor's degree in an accredited Engineering, Material Science, Chemistry or related curriculum and 2-5 years of progressive work experience
