Kristin Page We are seeking an experienced Group Sales Manager for a Select Service Property in Downtown Chicago . This unique opportunity is responsible for selling room blocks & event space within the SMERF market.

Someone proactive in their approach, genuine, and outgoing will do very well within this growing hotel group. If you are a tenured Sales Coordinator or Limited Service Sales Manager looking to expand your career then this is the opportunity for you.

Compensation : $65,000 - $75,000 + bonus / commission, comprehensive health benefits, 401k + match, a great PTO plan, employee discounts, and more!

Requirements :

  • 2+ years of hospitality sales experience preferably within the SMERF market
  • Background in group, rooms, catering, or banquet sales experience
  • Prior experience developing and initiating strategies to increase group room revenue
  • Background with Delphi, SalesPro, CI / TY, or other hotel CRM applications
  • Must possess a strong attention to detail

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all group and business travel sales for the property
  • Identify new markets of business opportunities
  • Participate in sales calls with the team to assist in closing new business
  • Work closely with the DIS to ensure proposed rate negotiations
  • Update action plans and financial objectives weekly
