George Fox University's Athletic Department is seeking a highly-motivated individual to serve as an On-Call Athletic Trainer.

About the Job :

The On-Call Athletic Trainer will primarily be responsible for planning and implementing athletic training functions including the supervision of student trainers within the Sports Medicine department in Athletics.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Assisting in athletic training room operations including practices and home contest coverage.
  • Additional duties as assigned by the ATEP director or the head athletic trainer
  • Communicating effectively and courteously with others, including employees, students, and the public, in a spirit of teamwork, respect and customer service.
  • By actions, words, and lifestyle, be a Christian role model to students, whether through casual contact or in a formal supervisory role.
  • Demonstrating awareness, respect, and appreciation for diversity of culture, background, race, sex, political views, expressions of faith, etc.

and works well with a variety of people.

Other duties as assigned.

We're looking for candidates who have :

  • A NATA certification
  • A Red Cross First Aid / CPR certification.
  • An ability to communicate effectively in English, including on the telephone, and understand and follow instructions.

  • A personal commitment to Jesus Christ and express their Christian testimony in a church. In addition, employees agree to live in agreement with the Community Lifestyle Statement and affirm the theological commitments expressed in the Statement of Faith.
