Job Title : Service Technical Support
Location : Santa Rosa CA 95403
Duration : 24+ Months with possible extension
Est. Pay Range : $31 - $34 / hour on W2 without benefits
Shift : 2pm to 10 : 30pm

Description :
The Quality Operations Support candidate will support manufactured test equipment.
Specific duties include : mechanical measurement of precision milled and turned sub-miniature high frequency electronic parts to ensure functionality and accuracy.
The candidate will be responsible for performing inspection of sub-assemblies or final assemblies or products.
Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, and / or diagrams in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies.
Maintains records and / or databases.
Working within the designated area of expertise, the candidate will clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting technicians and NPI Engineers.
Requirements :
Prior experience is strongly preferred. Applicant should have at least 4 years of related experience.
This position requires some education, and / or specialized training / certification.
Must have strong Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background, and be able to read blueprints.
Should have basic understanding of mechanical metrology hand tool usage.
GD&T experience is a MUST.
The manager indicated that this is not something that is "trainable".
Experience using automated software platforms is a plus. Strong PC (MS Windows / Office) skills are a must.
Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers preferred.
Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
Demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence.
