Senior Investment Analyst Delegated Solutions

What can you expect?

• Works within the US fixed income delegated solutions team.
• Oversee fixed income strategy construction, manager performance and selection.
• Responsible for maintaining and building out risk analysis and monitoring performance infrastructure across the delegated solutions client base.
• Collaborates with other asset class investment and client solutions teams to design solutions for new and existing clients while supporting the advisory channel as an investment industry resource.
• Part of the portfolio management team, providing consistent implementation and oversight that aligns with the global solutions mandate.
• Supporting the US regional investment governance structure; asset allocation, manager strategy and selection, as well as client segment investment committees.
• Engagement and direct contribution to the US fixed income strategic research team

We will count on you to :

• Have responsibility for analysis of performance, attribution and risk within fixed income solutions.
• Interface with investment sub-advisors, and participate in due diligence meetings.
• Develop proprietary materials that are critical to our investment brand and can be used to effectively position fixed income investment performance and portfolio construction with our client-facing colleagues, enhancing new client wins and retention.
• Create commentary from running and compiling analytics to produce periodic investment reports (monthly, quarterly).
• Design, implement and assist in monitoring investment guidelines across our delegated client solutions.
• Support senior investment leadership in upholding our fiduciary responsibilities across both asset class solutions as well as client segment total portfolio construction.

What you need to have :

• A strong candidate will have 3+ years of industry experience
• Strong working knowledge of both excel and powerpoint, as well as experience with portfolio construction platforms such as Barra, FactSet, Bloomberg.
• Asset class expertise (strong proficiency with sectors such as rates, credit, currency), portfolio construction knowledge and understanding of the drivers of return within fixed income markets.
• Prior exposure and understanding of fiduciary responsibility, with emphasis on process and control
• Structural awareness of the Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Not For Profit, Insurance and Wealth Management client segments
• Strong presentation and communication skills, along with effectiveness in navigating a growth-oriented environment.
• The environment is highly dynamic and collaborative, so it is essential that the right candidate possess comfort with direct accountability, taking initiative, follow-up and an ability to broker effective relationships with overlapping teams.
