What You Will Do :

Guidehouse has an exciting opportunity in our Defense and Security Segment to support the Department of the Air Force’s core financial accounting and entitlement system.

The Subject Matter Expert (SME) will serve as a focal point for delivering support to the Air Force Accounting Operations Center (AFAOC).

The SME will provide a variety of AFAOC suppor t to relevant CCMDs, Major Commands, and Space Force Field Commands around the country.

The Individual will regularly interact with senior government officials, staff, and will be engaged in a diverse set of program-specific tasks related to the Department's financial accounting and entitlement system.

The individual should possess a willingness to be flexible in supporting numerous work products and deliverables.

What You Will Need :

An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET federal security clearance

Bachelor's Degree -OR- FOUR (4) years of relevant experience

FIVE (5) or more years of experience within the DoD or Federal Government (advanced degree and / or pro f essional certi f ication may be substituted f or equivalent years o f experience)

Expertise in Air Force financial management policies, processes, and procedures specifically in using the Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS) application

Ability to work independently

Strong written and oral communication skills

Exceptional customer service skills

Strong time-management and prioritization skills

Ability to communicate applicable technical subject matter expertise to management and others

What Would Be Nice To Have :

Working knowledge of DoD and Air Force financial management and systems, processes and procedures

Ability to travel (up to 50%)
