The HR Operations Support Specialist serves as a first point of contact for HR related assistance and information for associates and managers, our customers.
Responsible for taking, processing, and resolving, generally standard inquiries on a variety of basic HR topics, providing quality support services with a high degree of customer satisfaction, expertise, and timeliness.
This role also supports end-to-end associate life-cycle processes including, but not limited to I-9's, benefits, leave of absence, timekeeping, employment verification and data management.
What you will do
Professionally and accurately respond to inquiries from current and former associates, managers, and external agencies, including basic HR questions, issues, problems, and status changes.
This is primarily done via HR Service Delivery technology platform, but may also include telephone, chat, e-mail and drop-in face-to-face interactions.
- Deliver a positive, professional, customer oriented experience with follow-through, attention to details, and resourcefulness.
- Utilize Case Management and Knowledge Management Systems to log and work through every inquiry. Quickly and accurately resolve inquiries in professional, sensitive, customer-focused manner in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Responsible for processing all new hire I-9's as well as reverifications and monthly audits to ensure compliance through our outside I-9 vendor.
- Interface with other HR team members, as well as internal and external resources to furnish or obtain needed information to close cases not escalated.
Educate associates and managers of self-service tools and other systems available to them and encourages their use as appropriate.
- Discerns opportunities to improve knowledge base and informs Communications Director or SMEs. Recommend changes and efficiencies to current HR Operations processes.
- Maintains high degree of confidentiality.
What you will bring
- Associate's degree in Human Resources or equivalent work experience.
- Possess practical work experience equivalent to 2 + years in Human Resources experience.
- Strong organizational skills, and attention to detail, with strong technical skills.
- Good interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, including MS Excel.
- Knowledge of and experience with HRIS software systems.

Base Salary Range
$50,800.00 - $69,775.00. The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed.
Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance.
Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
