About the Role :
We are seeking a Storeroom Inventory Specialist with hands-on experience in inventory management and shipping & receiving, specifically within a hospital setting.
This role is crucial to ensuring smooth operations in our perioperative environment by optimizing inventory levels, maintaining accurate stock records, and identifying ways to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage inventory requisitions, stocking, and delivery for various hospital departments.
- Receive, store, and distribute special order items as needed.
- Conduct weekly inventory checks and update stock records to ensure accurate supply levels.
- Monitor supply levels and alert the purchasing team before shortages or surpluses arise.
- Adhere to regulatory standards in storing and managing all products.
- Collaborate with hospital staff and the supply chain team to source the best products efficiently.
What We’re Looking For :
Required :
- Previous experience with inventory management in a hospital setting, especially in perioperative areas.
- Familiarity with automated inventory control systems.
- Strong skills in identifying inventory process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ability to spot compliance issues and proactively implement corrective actions.
Preferred :
- 1-2 years of hospital-based inventory experience.
- Familiarity with automated systems for tracking and managing inventory.
