Care STL Health seeks a full-time Environmental Technician to maintain a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for health care services.
Duties :
- Clean and sanitize all restrooms daily (i.e. toilets, sinks, and restroom floors), and refill supplies as needed (hand soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue).
- Damp mop the entire health center on a daily basis and clean baseboards.
- Vacuum areas of the health center that require it on a daily basis.
- Pick up trash on the outside of the building and parking lots on a daily basis.
- Wash windows according to the cleaning schedule.
- Wash walls according to the cleaning schedule.
- Wipe down patient care areas on a daily basis.
- Perform light maintenance.
- Follow all OSHA guidelines and rules regarding the handling of bio-hazardous waste.
- Respond to staff calls in a timely fashion
A Successful Candidate :
- Must be able to maintain a clean healthcare facility.
- Experience in the areas of carpet cleaning, floor care, restroom sanitizing, bio-hazard handling and window washing is preferred.
Qualifications :
- Education : High School Diploma or GED required
- Must have reliable transportation
Additional Information :
- Clinic hours are Monday - Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
