Our team is searching for a Field Service Engineer "Beam Physics" with skills and passion to install, maintain and repair IBA equipments worldwilde.
As a Flying Field Service Engineer "Beam Physics", you play a key role in our mission to treat cancer patients. You participate to the installation and maintenance of the IBA systems, equipments and technical tools on the Proton Therapy sites worldwide and more specifically related to the beam part on customer's site.
You ensure the highest quality of state-of-the-art technologies and services. You will become a specialist in the latest cancer treatment solutions and represent IBA with your "know-how".
Key responsibilities
As a Field Service Engineer, you will :
- install equipment / systems according to the defined planning, procedure timelines and operating processes
- maintain equipment / systems according to the maintenance schedule, and repair equipment / systems taking all necessary actions to solve problems
- debug and report bugs to the R&D Team, and you oversee testing equipment / systems according to the specifications
- train less experienced colleagues to use properly and safely equipment / systems
- document and report interventions and actions undertaken in CMMS, with the required level of details and accuracy
- With the rest of the team, you are on call to provide a helpdesk service and respond to various problems of our clients

A master's degree in electro-mechanics, civil engineering or physicsProven expertise in root-cause analysis, with the ability to lead large-scale system troubleshootingStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with both customers and the IBA teamExcellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishAnd you are
A driven, proactive and hands-on individualAble to organize your work autonomously and take initiativesWilling to travel up to 60% of your time, including mostly week-endsWilling to work different shift times, when necessaryCapable of handling pressure in stressful situationsCapable of adapting to different cultures and various interlocutorsWhat we offer
