Position Details
- Provide individual therapy and group therapy to individuals receiving substance abuse services.
- Manage a caseload of individuals and have knowledge of their treatment progress, engagement level, and treatment needs.
- Strong clinical documentation skills and ability to maintain individuals chart meeting program, local, state, and federal documentation requirements, and standards.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision and continuing education activities to further develop professional skills.
- Effective and timely communication with Supervisors, Case Managers, and Certified Peer Specialists on individuals needs and as resources or obtained and / or changed.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications :
- Master’s degree in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling.
- Licensure or certification will need to be achieved within 2 - 3 years of hire, depending on requirements.
- 1 3 years of counseling experience in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.
