THE POSITION :

The VP, Marketing Strategy, Planning & Analysis (MSP&A) will be an integral leader in the MSP&A team, helping shape strategy and planning for the marketing organization.

The MSP&A team is responsible for developing short and long-term business KPIs through best-in-class strategies, planning and data analysis.

This role requires the ability to align and collaborate with key stakeholder groups and influence senior management with data-driven insights and narratives.

The VP will report to the Senior Vice President, MSP&A.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead analysis and develop frameworks for evaluating the long-range planning for the Peacock Marketing team, including audience segmentation, customer content preferences, demographics, and other consumer behavior
  • Partner closely with internal and external teams to utilize 1st and 3rd party data to determine priority audience profiles
  • Deliver data-derived insights and action items to assist in the marketing prioritization and planning process
  • Partner closely with the Organic Social team to develop the organic social strategy, including platform efforts and audience development
  • Develop KPIs for marketing and social media that are aligned with overall business objectives and partner with Decision Sciences on creating metrics and dashboards to track performance

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

  • 10+ years of professional experience, including areas such as management consulting, business strategy, investment banking and business development.
  • A strong understanding of the entertainment streaming landscape and business models.
  • Excellent business acumen and the ability to form judgements and actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrates high level of business acumen and thought leadership including strong influencer skills across multiple areas, businesses, and leaders.
  • Highly effective communicator, both written and verbal.

  • Successful track record working collaboratively and creatively in coming up with big ideas, pushing for innovation, and managing priorities.
  • Successfully operate within a highly matrixed work environment with multiple stakeholders and able to oversee multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
  • Proven leader with experience retaining, attracting, and motivating best-in-class talent.
  • Strong leader with experience hiring and managing a team and the ability to motivate and develop junior team members.
  • Proven track record working within a fast-paced work environment
  • Proven excellent communication (written and verbal), organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional collaborator with proven ability to work effectively across all parts of the organization. Leads the team to operate in the same way.
  • Demonstrates a propensity for innovative thinking and entrepreneurial attitude while being respectful of business dynamics.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • MBA degree a plus.

Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Salary range : $190,000 - $250,000 (bonus and long-term incentive eligible)
