Summary :
- Performs under the direction and supervision of a licensed healthcare professional. Assists the surgical team in the preoperative and perioperative phases of patient care in Endoscopy;
- possesses the skills and knowledge to identify and collect all necessary equipment, instruments and supplies for a wide variety of Endoscopy and Bronchoscopy procedures;
- assists in the preparation of the Endoscopy suite; identifies plans for and implements instrumentation for select procedures;
- performs as assistant to the surgeon / proceduralist during procedures; ensures sterile and aseptic technique are maintained within the surgical environment;
enhances own professional growth and development through attendance at in-services, staff meetings and professional education programs.
Salary range for this position is $58,491-$66,336 annually which includes a comprehensive benefit package.

Education and Experience
1. Associate’s degree in surgical technology with graduation from an accredited OR Technician Program; or
2. Two (2) years of OR Technician or related experience gained through military service.
