Job Summary
Scrap Recycling Facility is seeking a Non-Ferrous Operations Manager / Trader. This role combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement in sales and procurement, aiming to drive the company’s success in the non-ferrous materials market.
Responsibilities :
Sales Management : Overseeing the sales of all non-ferrous materials processed by the company, handling the entire sales process personally.
This includes developing and maintaining relationships with domestic and international clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
- Buying and Selling : Managing the buying and selling of all non-ferrous materials. This involves sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, as well as selling them to both domestic and international markets.
- Domestic and International Contacts : Building and maintaining a robust network of domestic and international contacts for sourcing and selling non-ferrous materials.
This includes leveraging these connections to optimize the company’s buying and selling strategies.
- Inventory and Processing Oversight : Ensuring that all non-ferrous materials being bought and processed within the company are efficiently managed, from acquisition through to final sale, with a focus on maximizing profitability and meeting market demands.
- Market Analysis : Continuously monitoring global market trends for non-ferrous materials to make informed decisions on purchasing and sales strategies, ensuring the company stays competitive in both domestic and international markets.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience in non-ferrous material buying and selling, with a strong understanding of both domestic and international markets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience overseeing buyers and operations managers.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a solid track record of achieving profitable sales.
- Ability to develop and implement pricing strategies for multiple locations.
- Familiarity with logistics, shipping operations, and market trends in the non-ferrous industry.
- Experience with P&L management and a strong focus on profitability.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
