Work you'll do

• Analyze key drivers of renewable energy project economics, perform scenario analysis, and assist in developing solutions to maximize client interests.
• Develop and deliver financial models and supporting analysis to clients for transactions, strategic business planning and operational decision-making.
• Support clients through their renewable energy transaction structuring, which may include tax equity financing, corporate financing, and traditional project finance.
• Coordinate with a wide breadth of subject matter experts within Deloitte including tax, valuation, accounting, consulting, regulatory and business experts.
• Lead in team problem solving efforts and offer ideas to solve client issues.
• Provide coaching to junior staff.
• Contribute to proposal development.

Our team of financial modeling and valuation professionals includes financial advisors and economists from varied diverse backgrounds who together help our clients make better decisions using custom, tailored financial models.

We make an impact by advising our clients on critical public issues in areas such as business case analysis, transaction execution, credit analysis, cash flow analysis, valuation, and portfolio optimization.

Qualifications

Required :

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or another related field.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
• 2+ years of financial modeling experience.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities that requires professionals to co-locate in person 2-3 days per week.
• Experience coaching and training junior staff.

Preferred

• Technical and / or financial advisory related experience in areas such as project finance, infrastructure, clean energy, climate change mitigation, and real assets.
• Master's degree in a related field
• 2+ years of experience within the financial services and renewable energy or sustainability industry
