Director, Foundation and Healthcare Philanthropy

As the Director of Foundation and Healthcare Philanthropy , you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of philanthropy.

Your responsibilities will include enhancing operational and programmatic efforts to enrich both patient and benefactor experiences.

This hybrid position will serve as the resident expert for the healthcare philanthropy program; serve as a liaison between clinical programs and the development office, manage the FHF board of directors, and lead key Foundation initiatives that elevate the role of philanthropy for Froedtert Hospital.

Responsibilities :

• Reports to the Executive Director, Froedtert Hospital Foundation, and Managing Senior Director of Development.
• Liaises across the Office of Institutional Advancement to support an integrated approach to donor centered philanthropy.
• Directs and champions the Healthcare Philanthropy program, serving as the resident expert and primary point of contact for program coordination.

Facilitates the unique and nuanced expressions of gratitude by our patients.

• Creates and implements unique live the mission’ experiences for prospective donors, benefactors, and volunteer leaders through customized tours and shadowing of clinical programs and research labs.
• Serves as the development office’s primary point of contact with Guest & Patient Services and Executive Health.
• Directs the stewardship of FHF philanthropic funds, inclusive of fund request, tracking, reporting and donor recognition, in collaboration with the Stewardship Team.
• Coordinates structured and efficient reporting for FHF gift deliverables.
• Plans and manages all aspects of the annual Staff Giving Campaign for Froedtert Hospital.
• Supports FHF signature fundraising and donor / board engagement events, inclusive of the annual Desert Classic event in Scottsdale, Arizona.
• Supports the FHF Board and board engagement strategies / plans.
• Accountable for supporting a healthy and respectful culture adhering to Froedtert, MCW and the advancement office's mission, vision, and culture statements.
• Responsible for collaboration within and outside the department to achieve development goals.

Minimum Qualifications :

Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

Minimum education : Bachelor’s Degree

Minimum experience : 4 years experience

Preferred Qualifications :

Preferred education : Master’s Degree and / or Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) preferred.

Preferred experience : Healthcare or academic development; successful track record of development program experiences and donor / board engagement
