We are actively hiring inquisitive, diligent, scrappy mortgage professionals to support our growth. This will initially be a remote position, while we hire resources in the area, then you will transition to being in office.
Candidates are required to be located in the San Antonio, Texas area.
Responsibilities
- Collect, enter into software, and verify data
- Review executed loan documents for completion and accuracy
- Coordinate and review third-party deliverables as it pertains to closing and funding of the loan
- Review and iterate on settlement statements with escrow for accuracy
- Follow up on funding and disbursement
- Follow up on and track prior to wire conditions to funding of the loan
- Coordinate between third parties, borrowers and internal stakeholders on the closing of the loan
- Facilitate closings and complete the loan settlement process
- Follow up on post-closing items such as the recorded security instrument, final settlement statement and final title policy
- Write SOPs and form product expertise
- Review credit, background and pull third party documents as needed to support the underwriting process
Requirements :
- Prior experience in loan funding and closing and / or loan processing
- Expertise in business purpose mortgage lending gained through 2+ years of experience
- Ability to review third-party property property valuations with the aid of a checklist
- Expertise in reviewing loan document packages, settlement statements and coordinating closings
- Knowledge of underwriting borrowing entities, including formation document review, and the credit history, cash reserves, and background of individual sponsors / guarantors
- Knowledge of loan settlement and funding process
