High School Long-Term Substitute Teacher
Seeking an experienced, energetic, and innovative high school math teacher
Pay $20 / hour
Job Type : Full-time temporary, with a possible permanent hire
Location : Honolulu
Experience and Qualifications :
- Two years of teaching experience in high school mathematics
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education preferred
- Technical Skills : Comfortable and adaptable to integrate technology
- Effective classroom management skills
- Strong Communication Skills : read, write, talk, hear
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Pass Clearances
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Demonstrate competency in understanding, knowledge, and pedagogy in high school mathematics
- Execute lesson plans
- Prepare students for required assessments
- Prepare period reports for students and parents
- Provide a dynamic, interactive, and engaging atmosphere for learning
The substitute teacher will work closely with the school's teaching staff to ensure students receive high-quality education.
