Minimum Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and Child Development required.
- Minimum of three years teaching or delivering professional development to support Early Childhood Education educators, preferably at a Community College.
Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
Competencies
- Experience working in an early childhood setting (birth to age eight) three or more years. Experience and involvement with various RI Early Childhood entities and current state-wide initiatives.
- Knowledge and demonstrated experience with regional and national Early Childhood Education criteria including RI Early Learning Development Standards, and National Association for the Education of Young Children Standards and Competencies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook. Excellence in Blackboard LMS and evidence-based best practices that improve student achievement.
- Three years of experience working with adult students and an understanding of differentiation and universal design.
- Knowledge and proficiency in Google G-Suite and / or Microsoft Office
