Position Summary
The Department of Economics, Finance, Insurance and Risk Management (EFIRM) at the University of Central Arkansas invites applications two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions in Finance to begin in January and / or August 2025.
Candidates should hold a DBA or Ph.D. in Finance (ABD considered).
Candidates must have expertise or potential in providing quality teaching. Preference will be given to those with demonstrated teaching experience.
Potential or demonstrated ability to teach in both traditional and distance education formats is desirable. The new faculty member will teach a variety of undergraduate and graduate courses.
Teaching excellence is required to earn tenure. Tenure-track faculty are expected to provide service commensurate with their rank and experience.
Qualified candidates must have a demonstrated ability or potential to produce quality research. Research expectations for tenure can be found in the UCA College of Business (COB) Faculty Development Plan.
