Director of Financial Planning & Analysis 8260
Our client, an international retail company, is seeking a Director of FP&A to join their team and drive financial strategy and performance across corporate and retail operations.
The Director of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will play a critical role in guiding the financial planning, forecasting, and analysis processes to support strategic decision-making.
This position requires a strong background in wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels, with a deep understanding of retail operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead the FP&A team in developing and maintaining financial models, forecasts, and budgets
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights to senior management on key business drivers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives and drive financial improvements
- Develop and implement processes to enhance financial reporting and analysis
- Provide expertise in wholesale and direct-to-consumer financial dynamics, including pricing strategies, margin analysis, and inventory management
- Prepare presentations and reports for executive leadership and stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5+ years of wholesale or e-commerce experience
- Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, with a focus on wholesale and direct-to-consumer markets
- Strong understanding of retail financial operations and key performance metrics
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficient in financial modeling and use of financial software / tools
