Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Catering Events Coordinator at Kissel Uptown Oakland. The Catering Events Coordinator will be responsible for event planning, catering food and beverage selection, communication with clients and vendors, providing exceptional customer service, managing events, and driving sales.
This role involves coordinating and executing various events and ensuring smooth operations. Meeting and Events can be as small as a 2 person up to a 200-person gala or reception.
This role will work closely with Catering Manager, Sales Managers and Culinary team to ensure successful event execution.

- Menu Selection and Creation skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or related field
