Our work depends on Network Engineer joining our team to focus on technical aspects of data center network architecture and operations.

The engineer will work daily alongside engineering staff at site to become thoroughly familiar with unique processes and requirements relative to the DOD specific configurations and challenges.

What You’ll Need to Succeed :

Education :

• BA / BS or equivalent
• DOD 8570 IAT level II required

Required Experience :

5+ years of related experience or combination of education and experience

Required Technical Skills :

• Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems
• Performs maintenance and upgrade of networks including servers, routers, switches, firewalls, remote access systems, and networks
• Maintains network integrity and connectivity while ensuring compliance with policies and maintains system backup and recovery capability
• Coordinates the acquisition of hardware and software as well as subcontractor services as needed
• Creates plans and configures systems for data communication networks
• Designs and builds hardware and software components for computer or telecommunications networks
• Evaluates new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
• Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned

Security Clearance Level :

TS / SCI required to start

Required Skills and abilities :

• Good communications skills; shows tact, effective listening skills and follow through.
• Detail oriented and organized; able to understand network evaluation criteria and be exact in assessments

Preferred Skills

• CCNA or equivalent certification
• Military experience
• Team Leader experience

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.

Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
