Job Overview

Reporting to the PMO Manager, the execution-focused Project Manager will work as part of our newly forming Program Management Office (PMO) Team.

Working within a globally distributed stakeholder environment, you'll be responsible for managing the complete project life cycle, including approval, planning, scheduling, management, and closeout to ensure planned results, and committed business value is achieved for all stakeholders.

Acting as a key contributor to our PMO Team, the Project Manager will act as the point of accountability to plan, direct, and manage major workstreams for our client, whose business team is focused on creating financial services for advertisers, merchants, and creators, with emphasis on enhancing experiences for the customers they serve across multiple platforms and technologies.

Project management support may include but is not limited to InfoSec and Cyber Security, Application Development, Financial Services, Tools, and Products enablement and deployment.

How You Will Make an Impact :

  • Leading multiple projects spanning multiple domains within a Program Management Office (PMO) environment; effectively managing time, resources, scope, and quality while driving and prioritizing multiple work streams within a program
  • Ensuring standardization of Project implementation methodology : determining the best blend (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.

while driving complex projects from concept to fully operational

  • Engaging with different business and technical leaders and key stakeholders within our client's organization to understand project scope and requirements in terms of features and capabilities
  • Ensuring standardization in all Project collateral, from communication plans to and reporting output, including the format and frequency required for various stakeholder groups
  • Deliver regular progress reports tracking project plans and providing timely guidance and feedback to help teams get to the finish line collaboratively and ensuring appropriate mitigation and contingency plans are in place
  • Generate reports, presentations, and general correspondence to a wide range of audience types, including senior / executive leadership.

What You Will Need to Succeed :

  • BA / BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Six Sigma / Lean training or certification (any level)
  • InfoSec, Cybersecurity or ITIL training or certification (any)
  • Experience operating within a PMO type of structure
  • Former project management experience at an MSP, VAR, or consulting company
  • Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2, or other Project Management qualification would be considered an advantage with additional preference for Agile frameworks and methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean, FDD) or traditional SDLC / Waterfall models
  • Overall experience of 5+ years, with a Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing or performing IT or related projects using an Agile / Scrum / Waterfall / Kanban approach
  • 3 years of cross-functional, cross-disciplinary project management and / or business analysis experience for global mid-to-large sized corporations with a geographically dispersed population
  • Strong technology background as well as excellent planning, communication, and execution skills required to effectively collaborate and lead architects, engineers, and other technology and business professionals to deliver defined objectives
  • Demonstrated knowledge of key components of project management, associated tools and methodologies, including : Scope, Time, Cost, Quality, Human Resources, Communications, Risk, Integration
  • Experience with design, implementation, or operationalization of InfoSec / FinTech / Cyber Security systems, including documenting functional and business requirements, working with 3rd Party Vendors, executing the transition into a production environment
  • Familiar working in the following environment(s) : Matrix organization working with scrum teams, executive management, IT staff, geographically distributed and culturally diverse workgroups
  • Skilled in managing conflict resolution and communicating risks and roadmaps to senior / executive leadership
  • Skilled in resolving factors and elements that can negatively affect or impact a project

Compensation

Estimated Pay Range : $122700.00 - $184100.00 / Yr. USD Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
