We are currently searching for a Director of Catering to join our team! This key role is accountable for developing sales strategies to grow the catering channel of our business.

The Director of Catering manages the sales team and partners with bakery leaders to drive revenue by actively seeking out catering opportunities in our markets.

We rely on the catering team to create and implement business development strategies and train our bakery teams in sales tactics.

Through email, phone, and face-to-face meetings with prospective clients, your team will make our brands the choice for catering!

Ideally the Director will be based in one of our major markets - Arizona, Texas, Massachusetts, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, or Florida.

We are targeting $125,000-$140,000 base salary with up to 20% quarterly bonus opportunity! Additionally this position is eligible for an annual LTI grant.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO :

Lead, manage and support a team of up to ten Catering Sales Managers (CSM) and one inside Sales Representative (ISR).

Effectively manage team and other key relationships remotely.

Create and implement effective sales strategies and lead the team towards achievement of catering sales objectives.

Identify market trends and competitive pressures to develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.

Strong financial, quantitative, and analytic acumen by surveying and recognizing growth platforms and analyzing, reporting, and leveraging our sales results to shape future growth strategies

Develop and implement occasion driven sales campaigns and targeted call blitzes for the Catering Sales Managers and inside sales representative.

Provide supervision through field visits, observations and measurement of results to include performance appraisals and reviews.

Work in tandem with Store Operations to develop and grow catering within the organization and accelerate on improving execution performance across all stores.

A strong influencer in suggested operations strategies and expectations as it relates to catering.

Present product and services to groups of customers and prospects.

Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.

Hiring, orientation, training, development and retention of sales staff as needed.

Properly allocate sales resources to greatest incremental sales producing activities.

Organize activities and resources in a manner that maximizes productivity.

Monitor feedback from the field and provides perspective on future growth opportunities.

Keep a strong focus on opportunities to grow and enhance Noah’s sales without sacrificing catering service experience.

Proactively identify prospect’s business requirements and craft offers, which leverage the strength of our assets.

Ensure Catering Sales Managers are aware of relevant industry, market, customer and competitive information during the sales process.

Ensure that Catering Sales Managers are highly professional and competent in their selling capabilities.

Assist in the development and assures management of catering expense budgets are accomplished.

Provide input and influence to the Noah’s call center team that will enhance their ability to serve our customers and elevate the guest experience.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals through others and through own efforts.

Strategic thinker, able to efficiently develop and implement strategies to grow the business.

Solid business background. Able to effectively navigate through business decisions with various levels of complexity.

Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to successfully manage multiple projects at once. Able to prioritize effectively.

Great problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that consistently grows and changes.

Adaptable to change.

Able to work as part of a team and follow direction.

Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint. Able to easily adapt to new computer software.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS :

Required :

Minimum of ten years of sales experience at a supervisor level.

Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.

Leadership experience managing a team of three or more sales managers.

Preferred :

Restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation Range :

Annual Salary : $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 (depending on experience and location)
