Our Eastside based client is looking for aa Senior Accountant. Candidate must be proficient in Excel and GL experience. The Senior Accountant role consists of preparing journal entries, fixed assets and financial auditing.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze and reconcile all general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
- Monitoring bank balances and ensuring accurate and timely record keeping for all bank transactions
- Month end process across the Group including balance sheet and bank reconciliations
- Support travel and staff expenses accounting processes
- Management of fixed assets, intangible assets, prepayment and lease schedules
- Assisting with the preparation of financial reports where required
- Provide assistance and support to billing, payables and payroll team members as needed
- Provide assistance and support for sales tax analysis and reporting for multiple states and countries
- Assist with financial and tax audits
- Document and monitor internal controls
- Work on complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance teams or with other departments
- Maintain the general ledger, assist with audit preparations and perform other accounting duties as assigned
