Role Description
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving company growth through the development and execution of a comprehensive business development plan.
This individual will work to establish new business relationships, foster existing client relationships, and secure construction projects that align with the company’s strategic goals .
Qualifications
- Develop and manage the overall business development plan.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships that result in construction projects.
- Serve as the first point of contact for new customers understanding their needs and how J. Davis Construction can meet them.
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing customers promoting future projects and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to generate project opportunities and ensure successful client interactions.
- Network with clients, partners, and industry professionals through direct meetings, industry events, and relevant associations.
- Represent J. Davis Construction at economic development meetings to further business interests.
- Present the company’s qualifications and capabilities to potential clients in a professional and compelling manner.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and business opportunities in the customer database system.
- Develop and manage the annual business development budget to ensure resources are allocated effectively.
