Construction Laborer (Marshall Steam Station)

Founded in 1960, Trans Ash is a rapidly growing civil land construction & environmental company. This position is located at the Duke Energy Marshall Steam Station in Sherills Ford, North Carolina.

Essential Functions : Cleaning and preparing construction sites.Loading and unloading materials and equipment.Digging trenches, compacting earth, and backfilling holes.

Operating and tending machinery misc. heavy equipment.Following instructions from supervisors.Assisting tradespeople in their duties.

Job Requirements and QualificationsEducation : Previous construction industry experience.Training Requirements : Trans Ash will provide necessary safety training for the job.

Experience : Experience as a general laborer in the construction industry is preferred.Other Information : Frequent sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb, and operate vehicles and small equipment.Must be able to work in a construction environment including possible inclement weather.

Must have a valid driver’s license.Be at least 18 years of age.Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
