We are currently seeking an experienced CAD / Design Subject Matter Expert to join our growing team as the Director of Design and Drafting.
The ideal candidate possesses 25 years of related experience and wants to grow, collaborate, and innovate. In this position, the successful candidate will provide guidance and support to the Energy CAD Department for clients across the United States.
The Director of Design and Drafting will also be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of work scopes in accordance with associated schedule, scope of work, and budgetary goals through the proper training and development of personnel in the CAD department.
Additionally, the Director will provide training / mentorship to staff while leading the development of CAD libraries in Plant 3D.
Experience And Qualifications
- 25 years of related experience in Piping Design
- Proficient use of advanced tools such as Plant 3D and AutoCAD
- Experience in training and mentoring staff in the use of Plant 3D
- Ability to work well within a team environment, positive attitude, multi-tasking, and self-motivated to produce high-quality work
- Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge, and experience.
We anticipate filling this position as a Director of Virtual Design and Construction with a salary range of $115,700.00 - $186,800.
00. Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits dependent on position offered.
