The Information Technology Manager - Data Responsible for the growth and development of members of the Data Warehouse including developers, BA / QA, and support staff.

This position will be with National Indemnity Company in Omaha, NE with a hybrid 50% in the office work environment. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

What will you do?

Supervise members of the Data Warehouse by providing regular guidance and instruction on technical and non-technical topics.

Responsible for communication with outside vendors, state regulatory representatives, internal product owners, subject matter experts, underwriters, other managers, and programmers to understand, troubleshoot, and resolve complex problems.

Coordinate and execute onboarding and training of Data Warehouse employees

Manage and determine activities of personnel by determining work procedures, issuing written and oral instructions, analyzing and resolving work problems, and assisting employees in solving work problems.

Oversee all aspects of data feeds and reports.

What are we looking for?

Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or related field

Experience working with Data Warehouses, Data Marts, etc.

Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)

Data manipulation software

Insurance coverages and rating schemes and insurance products

Company and department practices and procedures

Cloud-based technologies ex.Azure (DevOps, Data Studio, etc.)
