Liaison Engineer - Aerospace

Job Summary

Senior Level MRB Authority to apply engineering dispositions to discrepant aircraft composite and metallic structure. Preferably achieved Boeing Material Review Board (MRB) certification.

Must be able to resolve engineering problems encountered during Manufacturing / Assembly process. Have strong knowledge of certification Procedures for Products and Parts and be thoroughly familiar with quality control requirements set forth in aircraft requirements

Job Description

• Performs basis structural analysis of non-conforming products and repairs to ensure structural integrity is maintained.
• Dispositions of non-conformances for commercial aircraft structure encountered during the manufacturing / assembly process, including reporting of failures, malfunctions, and defects.
• Basis knowledge of computer systems.

Qualifications :

• The successful candidate will typically have a B.S. degree from an ABET accredited program.
• Degree preference : Engineering or Technology (Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Studies).
• 6+ years dedicated to structural MRB / Liaison Engineering experience at an airframe manufacturer.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently required to perform the job.
• Familiarity with Boeing drawing and specifications a plus.
