POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a HRIS Analyst Lead to join our HR team and be on the ground floor of the implementation and launch of our HRIS platform, Ceridian will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and security of our HR data, as well as providing reports and insights to support strategic decision-making.
You will also collaborate with HR and IT to optimize the functionality and user experience of our HRIS platform. This role can be performed in a hybrid working environment.
What you’ll do :
- Guide and partner internally to ensure the successful implementation, launch, vision, and direction for how HR technology should be utilized to support Southland’s business initiatives.
- Be the lead subject matter expert in HR systems by researching and assessing technology needs, identifying systems / process improvements, and delivering technological solutions that support operational excellence.
- Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot the HRIS system, focusing on the Talent modules-recruiting, onboarding, benefits, performance, compensation, learning, and succession.
- Configure and customize the HRIS system to meet the changing needs and requirements of the organization, such as workflows, forms, fields, rules, and with other stakeholders to assess overall system impact of enhancements and changes.
- Develop and deliver HR reports, dashboards, and metrics to support HR and business objectives, such as headcount, turnover, retention, performance, compensation, and benefits.
- Provide training and guidance to HR and other users on how to use the HRIS system effectively and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security policies and regulations, as well as best practices for data management and governance.
- Research and evaluate new features and enhancements of the HRIS system, and recommend and implement solutions to improve the user experience and business outcomes.
- Collaborate with HR and IT to manage system upgrades, integrations, testing, and documentation.
What you’ll need to be successful :
- Very strong working knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices, and how they relate to HRIS functionality and data.
- Significant experience implementing systems and integrating existing / new systems.
- Proficient in Power BI, Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and SQL.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Very effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and levels of management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
What you bring to the table :
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8-10 years of experience in HRIS administration, configuration, and reporting, preferably with Ceridian or Dayforce HRIS.

Pay : Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
For (Colorado / New York City / California / Washington) this ranges from $140,000 - $155, 000, plus annual incentive, benefits and retirement program as outlined above.
