POSITION OVERVIEW :

The HR Manager is a motivated and passionate part of the M&M team. The HR Manager serves as a strategic partner
who works with operational leadership to impact change at a store level. This role is responsible for executing All
Things People .
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Conduct employee relations investigations, loss of hours, harassment, substance abuse, etc.
- Provide reference to company policies and procedures for all team members
- Manage employee relations issues for multiple franchise locations & communicate with District
Managers and the Executive Director of Operations as needed
- Train members of management on recruiting, onboarding and HR processes and expectations
- Manage benefit communications, enrollments and terminations
- Adjust management access on all platforms for internal promotions and external new hires
- Conduct first and / or second interviews of District Managers, General Managers, Assistant Managers
and Shift managers
- Review, analyze and provide turnover data and wage analysis to leadership
- Partner with operations and support staff to work on company projects and initiatives
- Ensure minor labor laws are adhered to and work permits are received
- Manage companies 401K enrollments, hardships and terminations
- Review, verify and approve / deny Leave of Absence requests for FMLA & Non-FMLA qualified team
members
- Partner with enrolled team members to submit for STD / LTD time off needed
- Manage Workers Compensation claims submitted with the injured team member and the work
comp carrier
- Adhere to ACA compliance requirements
- Perform other duties as requested

WORK ENVIRONMENT :
- This position operates remote with travel as needed for in person support
- Availability Monday thru Friday from 8am-5pm; must be able to work up to a 10 hour shift to perform essential
functions
On call availability during early, late & weekend store operating hours for escalated issues / concerns
